Diarmuid Gavin was at Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands today.
Apart from giving an amusing and informative talk he was also involved in judging a competition whereby local schools were required to arrange a planting scheme within a wheelbarrow.
The results were fantastic. Inventive and bright. I did, however, have a wry smile at the entry provided by the Catholic school. I am certainly not offering an opinion on Catholicism ( having been raised a Catholic myself I would not dare 🙂 ) but did find the recreation of Mount Calvary and the three crucifixes a little macabre.
